Who we are
DemoFit is operated by Rorqual Systems. This policy explains which information DemoFit processes and how.
What we process
Account information (name, work e-mail address, protected password, organization and role, last sign-in), the deals and demos your team prepares, the documents you upload to prepare them, and the messages sent through the contact page.
Documents you upload
The documents your team uploads, such as a client RFP, are used only to prepare your organization's demos. They are never shared with another customer and never published.
Artificial intelligence
To understand a deal and its documents, DemoFit sends the relevant extracts to an AI provider that processes them on our behalf. Your organization can connect its own AI provider instead; DemoFit then uses only that provider for your organization.
Service providers
DemoFit relies on a few providers that process information on our behalf: Railway hosts the application and its database (United States, US West region); Postmark delivers e-mails (messages from the contact page and account e-mails such as invitations and password links); an AI provider processes the extracts needed to understand a deal, either the one DemoFit uses or your organization's own when it has connected one. Public information about a client company, such as what it publishes in its official reports, may be looked up through CorpLens, a service of Rorqual Systems.
Messages from the contact page
Your name, e-mail address, company and message are used only to reply to you.
Hosting
The application and its database are hosted by Railway (United States, US West region).
Retention
Account information is kept while the account is active. Your organization can ask for its documents and its account to be deleted.
